Uliyin Oosai- Kalaignar’s emotional outburst

The audio release of Kalaignar Karunanidi’s Uliyin Osai was held at the University centenary hall yesterday which was attended by luminaries from tinsel town and politics. The first CD was released by Kalaignar and was received by director Bharathi Raja. While speaking at the occasion, Kalaignar held out an emotional appeal to

everyone concerned to make the Sethu Samudram plan come true which he said would benefit Tamil Nadu.

Bharathi Raja who spoke at the event said, “Kalaignar is the living 9th wonder of the world. I am so proud to be living at a time when he is also there. He is the Sun and I am the earth revolving around him”.

According to director Balachander Kalaignar is a remarkable politician and a greatest creator of our times. Poet Vairamuthu while heaping oodles of plaudits on Karunanidi stated in his emotional voice which is very typical of him, “It is very difficult to stay in public life for more than 15 years and even more difficult to do the same in literary field. But Kalaignar has managed to do both keeping everything under his control”.
