the wedding is scheduled to be held on the
17th of July at St. Mary’s church
at Kothamangalam which happens to be the
bridegroom’s native place. Wedding
reception will be held on the 20th of July
at Ernakulam.
When Gopika was questioned about her post
wedding plans, the ‘goligundu kannu’
star said that she is planning to retire
from films and settle into domestic life
at Ireland. Though she had desired to stay
in the film industry for some more time,
she decided to heed to her parent’s
wishes of seeing her married off soon as
she has a younger sister of marriageable
age. Till date Gopika has acted in a total
of 35 films in all the South Indian languages.
