Bharathi Raja’s acid test for Ameer

Recently audio release of Brahmandam, a film where Kannada Ravichandran and Namitha play lead roles was held at the AVM theatre at AVM studios. This function was attended by many dignitaries from film world. Speaking on the occasion, director Ameer said, “I saw Bharathi Raja walking into the venue just like a hero. His demeanor and body

language are all suggestive of a dashing star. I am going to create a script keeping him in mind”.

Reacting to Ameer’s appreciative comments, the veteran director said, “Thirty years ago, I had come to Chennai in a lorry solely to become a hero. But somehow things took a different route and I am a director now”. Looking at Ameer, he further said that he has a tailor made script ready for him but it would certainly be an acid test for him to prove his mettle as an actor.
