Kanchivaram gets top honors

Indian Panorama is the film festival that is conducted by the Department of Information and Publicity and Navadharshan Film Society. Every year, the director of the best film that participated in the film festival will be handed over the Sri Shankardass Swamigal award.

And this year, Kanchivaram, directed by ace director Priyadarshan has been selected for the award. The Chief Minister of Pudcherry, Vaithialingam will present the award and hand over the cash prize of Rs. 50000 and a memento to Priyadarshan in a function that is slated to be held during the second week of September.
