Arya says no to Ananya

Arya’s production house The Show People forayed into the business with Padi Thurai. Debutante Abishek and Ananya had been roped in to play the lead roles. However, the latest buzz is that Ananya is now replaced by newbie Shanthini. Sources say that Ananya’s non availability during the first day of the shoot resulted in her ouster.

Padi Thurai is directed by Bala’s assistant Suresh Kannan. Ilayaraja will score the music for the lyrics penned by Nanjil Nadan, S Ramakrishnan and Jayamohan.
