Charged with the success of Subramaniapuram
and Nadodigal, Sasikumar is gearing
up for his next venture. According
to the latest information available,
Sasi’s next film will have
Chennai as its backdrop. While the
movie will entirely have debutants
playing lead roles, Sasi plans to
stay away from this venture. He,
however, has cast Samudrakani, his
long time friend and director of
Nadodigal in a significant role
in the new movie. It is also learnt
that Samudrakani has been asked
by Sasi to shed down a little bit
of excess flab and trim down for
the venture.
Abhinaya, the speech and hearing
impaired girl who played Sasi’s
sister in Nadodigal, is retained
for the new movie. “She is
a very good observer and finishes
her scenes in just one take. That’s
precisely what I expect from my
actors and hence I have signed her
up again,” Sasi was quoted
as saying.
