First ever for Jai

Vamanan is the first film for Jai which will have a maximum number of prints. Sources in Kollywood say that the Vamanan team has plans to make 160 prints of it, the highest ever for Jai.

Vamanan’s director Ahmed expects this film to be a trendsetter. Jai, who had been starring in multi hero subjects till now, will be seen as an action hero in this film. The director is confident that several films will follow the trend set by Vamanan.

Priya, a newbie, plays the female lead, while Lakshmi Rai, Rahman, Oorvasi and Santhanam will be seen donning important roles. Plans are afoot to dub the film in Telugu after it is released in Tamil on 10th July.
