The Imprints, a new production
house, is venturing into Kollywood
with the film Jayakumarin Thiraikathai
starring Nandhaa and debutant Madhvi
Singh. Producers Arvind Venugopal
and Govind Padmasuriya, who has
produced the Malayalam film Adayalangal,
which went on to win five state
awards, will be producing Jayakumarin
Thiraikathai.
Sarath Haridasan, who had assisted
director Naga in penning the story
and screenplay of Ananthapurathu
Veedu, will turn director with Jayakumarin
Thiraikathai. He is also in charge
of the story and screenplay. The
film is about the travails of a
writer. The shooting is expected
to commence in Chennai and the team
has plans to can the shots in Kerala,
Karnataka and Ramoji Film City.
M Karthik has scored the music for
this film and Subbaiah Kuttappa
has wielded the camera. Stunts are
by T Ramesh, choreography by Saravana
Rajan, and editing is by TS Jayachandran.
