Book on AV M released

Silver jubilee celebrations of the AVM trust was held at the AVM Rajeswari Wedding Hall last evening. To commemorate the event, the Hindi translation of Rani Maindan’s book ‘Appachi’ – the biography of A V Meyyappa Chettiar – was released. Titled ‘Pithasree’ the book is written by T S K Kannan. First copy of the book was released by R M Veerappan and received by Dr. S S Badrinath.

The book release was followed by an oration titled ‘Sundarakaandam – Oru Paarvai’. R M Veerappan, in his welcome address, mentioned that AVM was instrumental in his cinema debut. He recollected that A V Meyyappa Chettiyar was a wonderful person with excellent ideologies. He added that the Hindi version of his biography would provide an insight into his life and principles for people all over India.
