Brinda Sarathy, director of Thithikuthe, is
directing a film with Cheran and Jeeva in
the lead roles. Navya Nair and Meera Jasmine
were signed up to play female leads. But now
Meera Jasmine finds herself out of the project.
Engal Asan's shooting is moving on at a rapid
pace. The film was shot for about 30 days
in Pollachi and Karakudi. The stunt sequences
are being filmed in Chennai and the team intends
to move to Kodai to film the song sequences.
Maestro Ilayaraja's Uliyin Osai is receiving
rave reviews for its music and re-recording.
The music director's next film, slated for
an August release, is Ajantha. This film,
made in four languages, is tipped to have
some good music from the music legend.
A temple function set, built at the cost of
Rs. 25 lakhs, has been erected for Vedigundu
Murugesan, which has Pasupathy and Jyothirmayi
