Lollu Sabha is threatened

Four bomb-like parcels that reached TV actors Swaminathan, Manohar, TV director Rambala and Vijay TV has baffled the Chennai police. Incidentally, the actors and the director are associated with a program called Lollu Sabha in Vijay TV. The first bomb reached Swaminathan at his residence in K.K. Nagar. On the same day the parcel

also reached the other actor Manohar at his residence in Royapuram while it was delivered to the director and Vijay TV at the television office in Nungambakkam.

The bombs, made of firecrackers and attached with some wires, were sent by courier. The police said that it could have triggered quite an impact if meddled with. Efforts to trace the address proved futile as it was found to be fictitious. Also, the courier was sent from two places – Myladuthurai and Nellai – by a person called Siddarth. Police believe that it could be a fictitious name as well. The motive behind this is unknown but it is suspected that it could have been sent by someone who was hurt by the program.
