It is official. Rajini's yesteryear comic classic Thillu Mullu, is being remade now by Vendhar movies who are producing this film. The dialogue writer of Kalakalappu, Badri will be directing this much celebrated remake.
To reprise Rajini's role, we have none other than Mirchi Shiva who has wowed audiences with his comic timing in movies like Thamizh Padam, Kalakalappu, Chennai 600028 and Saroja. The original made by K.Balachandar released in 1981 and is considered to be a cult classic by all Tamil cinema fans.
