Remember Ajith’s grand opening in Mankatha, where he comes flying in a car and lands before the foes? The film’s producer, Dhayanidhi Alagiri was recently at the same location where that opening scene was made, but for a different reason. Cloud Nine’s next venture, Thagararu starring Dhayanidhi’s cousin Arulnidhi has started rolling. The first day’s shoot was canned at the same location where Ajith’s establishing shot in Mankatha was made.
When questioned why this particular location, the producer termed it as “sentimental”. Thagararu is being directed by Ganesh Vinayak and features Poorna as the female lead.
