Kamal Hassan was a special guest at the recently held concluding ceremony of celebrating 150 years of Income tax. He was honored by senior officers of the income tax department for being a shining example of good citizenship. The Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri Surjit Singh Barnala was the chief guest at this occasion which was attended by luminaries representing illustrious fields.
A short film on the history of Income tax was shown and awards were given to top tax payers. A cultural programme was also staged at this event. Congratulations to Padmashri Kamal Hassan and the other award winners.
