The crew of Aaravadhu Vanam, a film that
deals with honor killing, was shooting a
scene in which a couple was required to
commit suicide by throwing themselves in
front of a running train. To film this scene,
an assistant director and a girl were made
to lie down in an unused railway track and
red ink and beef were strewn upon them.
After this, the team went up a nearby hill
to film the scene.
But things went wrong, when a cowherd who
came that way saw the bodies and went crying
into the village. Immediately police were
alerted and the entire village visited the
spot. Sensing trouble, the film’s
director KR Bhuvanesh rushed down to the
spot to explain the scene to the police
and the villagers. The remaining portion
of the scene was filmed without hindrance
later.
