Vijay has been awarded
the Fans’ Favorite Actor award during
the Kalaignar TV Isaiaruvi Channel’s
awards for film music directors and playback
singers. Udhayanidhi Stalin and director Dharani
presented the award to Vijay during a function
held to distribute the awards.
Rahul Nambiar and actress Andrea received
the best debut male and female playback singer
awards respectively. Selvaganesh received
the best debut music director award for scoring
the music for the film Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu.
Shruti Haasan was presented the best music
director award by Ilayaraja for scoring the
music for Unnai Pol Oruvan. Ilayaraja was
honored with a silk shawl by the Kalaignar
TV’s CEO Amirtham.
