Siva is producing Aravaan, which is to be
directed by Vasantha Balan. The film will
have Aadhi of Mirugam and Eeram fame donning
the greasepaint for the lead role. Dhansika,
who debuted in Peraanmai, will play the female
lead while newbie Archana Kavi will be the
second heroine.
According to the director, Aravaan means
a man who has all the qualities that a man
should possess which includes braveness
and gentleness. Aravaan will be set in the
18th century and focus on the life of Tamilians
during that era.
Popular playback singer Karthik will mark
his debut as a music director with this
film and Siddarth will crank the camera.
