Filmmaker Vijaya T Rajendar
was questioned why he does not direct his
son Silambarasan. Answering this, TR said
that he intends to make films with debut actors
or starlets rather than established and successful
actors.
TR also pointed out that he had made several
films with Silambarasan when he was a child
artiste, but since he has soared greater
heights now, he would not consider doing
it in future.
Silambarasan’s Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa
was a highly successful film and the actor
is committed towards two other ventures
now.
