A PROMISE THAT BALA MADE TO BALU MAHENDRA

Director Bala is no doubt basking in glory over being the National award winner and this was evident from the fact when he said that he feels like floating in the air. The ace director says that he will dedicate the award to his mentor Balu Mahendra. Bala also mentions that the Balu Mahendra household has been celebrating his success and he feels that he has completed his duty.

The director reveals that Balu Mahendra and Ilaiyaraja have extracted a promise from him, i.e., he should not direct dark movies anymore. Keeping to the promise the director has decided not to work in such films anymore.
