Writer
Chandra, who had worked as an assistant
to director Ameer in Ram, and as
a co-director to Thamira in Rettaisuzhi,
has penned two books of which one
is a short story and the other a
set of poetries. The books were
released by director Sasi Kumar
at the auditorium in Film Chamber
of Commerce recently.
Those who were present at the event
were Jai, Naa Muthu Kumar, Shobha
Shakthi, Meena Kanthasamy, Ajayan
Bala and others.
Speaking at the function, Sasi Kumar
said that he refused to participate
in this function initially as he
feared sharing the dais with noted
writers. He added that he was apprehensive
of giving a speech in the midst
of the writers. However, when his
turn to talk about the book finally
came, he was left with nothing to
talk about the books as all the
other writers who had spoken before
him had discussed it elaborately.
Sasi Kumar predicted that Chandra
is not only an excellent writer
but would also shine as a director
very soon.
