Universities and educational institutions
in Tamil Nadu encourage film fraternity in
many ways – one of them is awarding
doctorate (Honoris Causa) degrees on film
stars and directors. The latest to join this
bandwagon of luminaries receiving the doctorate
degree is none other than Producer Henry who
made meaningful films like Bhrathi Kannamma,
Marumalarchi, Pudamaipithan and Kallazhagar.
The Degree of "Doctor of Humanities"
was conferred upon Henry by the University
of Jerusalem, Tambaram, Chennai at a convocation
ceremony held on 30th Jan 2009 in the college
premises. Behindwoods conveys its best wishes
to Henry on this happy occasion. |
