A large number of youngsters were present
at the event. The boys were wearing T-shirts
that carried slogans supporting Siva while
girls wore similar T-shirts supporting Sakthi.
They were also mouthing many interesting
calls, lending a festival feel to the occasion.
At the function, Jeyam Ravi released the
first copy of the audio which was received
by Suriya. The function was hosted by popular
TV personality Badava Gopi. Many popular
artistes and technicians from Kollywood
were part of the event. They included Cheran,
Sneha, Ramanarayanan, Sasikumar, Charan,
Mysskin, Lingusaamy and AVM Saravanan.
Most of the directors who spoke at the
function expressed their faith in the quality
of a product from Vikatan Talkies. Jeyam
Ravi said that he came for the audio release
in spite of running a temperature because
Jeeva was a very good friend of his. Suriya
said that he had to thank Jeeva for giving
him a vital tip which helped him get in
shape for the teenager’s role in Vaaranum
Aayiram.
The trailer of the movie was screened at
the event and the indications are that of
a youthful entertainer. Two songs also were
screened, one of which was an ‘all
boys’ type of song with some very
interesting lines that went ‘MGRa,
Nambiara’, the other one ‘Eppadio
Mattikitten’ was breezy with some
good choreography. Music was scored by Yuvan
ShankarRaja who was also present at the
event.
Siva Manasula Sakthi is directed by Rajesh,
former assistant of Ameer having worked
with him in Mounam Pesiyadhe. However, this
does not look like an Ammer kind of film
from early indications. We can expect a
feel good light hearted fare on screen.
