Tamil hero moves to Kannada film industry

Prabhu is all set to make his Kannada film debut. The actor, our sources state, has flown down from the sets of Mani Ratnam’s Ravan, which was being filmed in Kolkata, to Mysore to take part in shooting. The film, titled Boss, is directed by a debutant Raghu Raj and produced by Ramesh Yadav. Prabhu dons the role of an investigative officer in the film.

According to the producer, Prabhu did not want his debut in the Kannada film industry to be publicized until he actually took part in the shooting.

It is worth mentioning here that the acting legend and Prabhu’s father, late Sivaji Ganesan also starred in two Kannada films School Master and Makkala Rajya in the 1960s.
