Man in search of his mother, does that ring
a bell? We have heard the same thing somewhere
else recently - Nandhalala. The movie follows
the journey of a small boy accompanied by
a mentally retarded man, both of whom are
in search of their mother.
Even more surprising is the fact that a
third movie, Aayirathil Oruvan too has a
similar track wherein Karthi goes in search
of his mother. Well, it is purely coincidental,
but ‘amma sentiment’ seems to
be the flavor of the season. Let’s
wait and watch whether this flavor is favored
at the box office.
