to honor Poo that depicted the rural life
of people in the interior of Tamil Nadu
successfully.
The award will be distributed by Union Health
and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Anbumani
Ramdass in an event on January 12th, in
the premises of Chettinad Vidyashram School,
Raja Annamalaipuram. Poo, starring Srikanth
and Parvathi, is directed by Sasi and is
based on the short story called 'Veyilodu
Poi' written by Tamilselvan.
