According
to the Theater Owner’s Association
press release, Tamil Nadu Government
has announced its decision to allow
5 shows to be screened for Pongal.
The permit will be valid from January
14th to 20th during the Pongal week
according to the notification. Theatres
in rural areas are permitted to screen
special shows in the morning from
January
14th to 18th and noon shows on January
19th and 20th.
What with Naan Kadavul showing signs of
pulling out of the Pongal race, looks like
only Villu and Padikadhavan will be the
frontrunners in the race.
