"Surya and Arya are my heroes"

Cinematographer R D Rajashekar is very much energized about the positive reviews that he has been getting for his work in Lingusamy's Bheema. While relishing his accolade, he attributes it to the way his camera traveled in sync with the story. He says, "If I had taken a detour from the script by changing the lights

and the tone, it would not be talked about. I believe in keeping unobtrusive camera angles in line with the story". According to this ace cameraman, his role model is John Woo from Hollywood who adds glamour even in action packed scenes.

Like most of the cinematographers, Rajashekar also has plans to foray into direction this year end with two films, one with Surya and the other with Arya. He has two scripts ready and would be handling the camera also in both these films. Action laced with romance will be the theme in these two films. When quizzed about his withdrawal from Vishal's Sathyam, he states that it is because of date problem and nothing else.
