Director Sami of Mirugam, the film which was in the news more for its controversies than the film itself is a happy man these days. The problems that arose due to his slapping of heroine Padmapriya and later from the animal welfare board members seem to be fading away into oblivion with the positive responses that he has been receiving for the film.
According to Sami, a lot many scenes had suffered the wrath of the scissors of censor board members which he had shot aiming at an award. Now he plans to incorporate a few scenes and remove some and keep a separate version to be sent to National and International festivals. Once after receiving awards, he is desirous of releasing that version here. Wishing the young director all the best in his endeavors.
