Director Perarasu after his Commercial Panjamirdam Pazhani, is geared up for his next venture. Sticking to his reputation of naming his films after places, this time he has come up with ‘Thiruthani’. He also avers that this title may change depending upon the availability of right hero. It has been said that he
has approached Sundar C who is said to have a given a negative reply as his call sheet is full with many projects. Perarasu is also toying with the idea of casting Bharath. However the young actor is busy with Nepali and after he completes this, he will move on to Muniyandi Moondram Aandu Vilangiyal. Further more he will be doing a project for Hari. Hence Perarasu has narrated the script to Action King Arjun who has also not given a confirmed reply as yet. Till he gets the right hero, Thiruthani will have to wait.
