Popular actors to participate in radio show

Big FM 92.7 is one of the popular FM stations in Chennai. They have come out with a novel show titled Tamizhanin Perumai which as the name indicates would discuss in detail about the achievements of Tamil luminaries from different fields where they have carved a niche for themselves.

Everyday will witness a celebrity being featured on air, where his or her traits and achievements will be discussed by fellow colleagues, family, friends and fans in general. Viewer’s interaction also will play a major role in this show. The new format commenced on January 15, 2008 with Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. Karunanidhi, being the first celebrity to be felicitated on the station. Further shows will feature actor-director Parthiban, percussionist Sivamani, Isai Puyal A R Rahman and Sathyaraj, to name a few.

While speaking on the occasion Parthiban said “Radio is a great medium to connect with the local populace and what better way than to celebrate Tamizhanin Perumai!
