John and Esha to do a Pamela Anderson

John Abraham is popularly referred to as Bollywood's heartthrob or Mr. Clean for his candid talk with the media. This actor has had a bevy of releases in 2007 but none of them made it big at the box office. John’s personal life went through a rough patch as well, but nothing seems to hamper his stand for a cause that he completely believes in. He has for

long been a People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) activist and has participated in several campaigns to promote this cause. A lot of actresses have also raised their voices for this organization. Incidentally, actor Madhavan was voted the PETA ambassador for the year 2007.

Another actress who now wants to lend a helping hand to this organization's activities is Esha Deol, whose career also hit an all-time low last year. Both Esha and John now intend to do a bare all act, as a part of an awareness campaign, against the use of animal products and to promote vegetarianism. This trend was started last year with the former Bay Watch beauty Pamela Anderson going naked at the window of a fashion store in Paris, as a part of her PETA campaign. More recently, it was actress Alicia Silverstone’s turn to do the same for a calendar.

With John and Esha emulating this trend, guess they don't get themselves into trouble with the culture vultures’ moral policing act. After all, it is for a good cause. So here’s wishing good luck to them.
