Cheran’s film in a legal tangle

The upcoming Cheran starrer Raman Thediya Seethai is in the news for the wrong reasons now. The shooting of the film was in progress recently at Boothapandi in Kanyakumari district where the unit had used the vehicle registration number of a revenue department officer without obtaining their permission.

This has naturally irked the officials in-charge who after obtaining necessary orders from the collector had seized the car in question and had lodged a complaint with the police against director Jegan. It was reported that the director has also been booked under sections which deal with the contempt of the National Flag.
