Rahman is out of the Oscar race. Yes,
his song Na Na in Couples Retreat
failed to make it to the Oscar nominations
this year. Hollywood star Anne Hathway
announced the nominations for the
best original song category and Rahman’s
song did not feature in it.
The nominees for this year are: “Almost
There” and “Down in New
Orleans” from The Princess and
the Frog by Randy Newman, “Loin
de Paname” from Paris 36, by
Reinhardt Wagner and Frank Thomas,
“Take It All” from Nine,
by Maury Yeston, “The Weary
Kind (Theme from Crazy Heart)”
from Crazy Heart by Ryan Bingham and
