Clean sweep for Slumdog

The director of the rags to riches Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle, has won the best director award. This has pushed up the number of Oscars for Slumdog Millionaire to seven! Danny Boyle, the British director and producer has several films to his credit such as Trainspotting, Sunshine, and 28 Days Later.
