Neediyin Kural, a program which is telecast
every Monday in Makkal TV for an hour is
focused on bringing total social justice
to practice. This is a live program which
takes up the common people's issues and
crusades on their side. The opinions from
the audience who participate through phone
are also documented. Neediyin Kural has
a reputation of taking issues to the attention
of the concerned authorities.
One more program titled Pudhiya Thirai which
is being telecast at 5.00 PM on Saturdays
on Makkal TV, is an initiative to promote
the makers of short films. This will help
spot the right talents and bring them to
the fore. A small interview with the directors
involved and their films and themes are
also discussed.
