Mysskin’s wrath over theatre owners

While Anjathe certainly has made Mysskin a happy man, looks like the attitude of theatre owners is proving to be a let down for his creative freedom. Having received murmurs from few cinema hall and multiplex owners in the city about the length of the movie – Anjathe runs for a whole 3 hours and 20 minutes – Mysskin defended his stand and not budged for requests to do away with a few scenes so as to trim down the running time.

Earlier, the theatre owners lodged a request with the producer of the movie asking for a few cuts. The request was redirected to Mysskin who did not feel it necessary to snip any scenes. Sources stated that he felt there is not a single scene in the movie that hinders the flow and that after scrutinizing a few theatres in the city he found that the viewers are glued to the plot and hence the request lacked justification.

Despite all this, Mysskin recently found that some theatres are playing the movie with pointless cuts for the sake of reducing the length. This has obviously angered the director who is said to be fuming over the issue. More information is expected in this regard.
