Mammootty’s next after Aaruvadai

After quite a while, a Mammootty film awaits release in Kollywood. Aaruvadai which will have Arjun and Sneha besides Mammootty has been in the making for quite some time now and should be out in the foreseeable future. The film will release simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam where it will be titled Vande Mataram. Meanwhile, another Mammootty film is taking shape.

Titled Sarkaar, the film will be written and directed by debutante A.R. Sheikh who is a former assistant of Shaji Kailas. The production team has said that the movie will have a big star cast, but further details are not available. The heroine is yet to be finalized. Maestro Ilaiyaraja takes care of the music of Sarkaar. The film will be shot in Tuticorin, Chennai, Trivandrum and Malaysia. Highbright Movie Creations is producing the movie.
