birthday.
Among those felicitated was a dumb man for
having donated blood 30 times.
While this happened in the morning, Kamal's
evening turned out to be even more interesting.
This was a book launch function organized
at the Chennai Film Chamber. The book was
written by Mana on late artist Adhimoolam
titled “Adhimoolam — Azhiyaakodugal.”
The reporters seemed to have a field day
after the function was over, for that's
when they threw an interesting question
about the burning issue – Raj Thackeray's
comments on the Big B. It is not news that
Raj Thackeray's observation on Amitabh Bachchan
that he does not belong to Mumbai came in
for some heavy criticism. Commenting on
this, Kamal said that if it is possible
to read a book written by Khalil Gibran
in Mylapore, Chennai it is clearly indicative
that artistes are not bound by boundaries.
That's one statement that should put the
issue to rest!
