As we had reported earlier, Samar was originally scripted for Arya. But Vishal, offered to do it, when Thiru narrated him the story. In a recent event, Vishal said that there is no way Arya would be mad at him for this. “He is my very good friend and a generous one too. He cares for me more than I do for myself,” reasoned Vishal.
Vishal plays a dual role in the film and one of those is a character of an Alpinist. The film is about his journey from Ooty to Bangkok. Trisha and Sunaina play the female leads and Jayaprakash, Sampath, Manoj Bajpai, JD Chakravarthy and Rajendran appear in supporting characters.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the film and is presently in Kuala Lumpur doing the final mix and mastering.
