The music of Mani Ratnam’s latest offering ‘Kadal’ is one of the most anticipated albums of the year. Our sources tell us that the soundtrack is expected to hit shelves in a week’s time. There are reports suggesting that the production house, Madras Talkies, is ready to release the music on the 14th of December, but a final round of discussion is currently underway with Sony Music who hold the audio rights. The outcome of this meeting will determine the actual release date which is widely being talked about as the 17th of December.
We believe that there is also a possibility that Kadal may face the same treatment as Raavanan, with the music CDs being made available before the official audio launch function.
