A.R.Murugadoss made his debut with the Ajith starrer Dheena in 2001 and since then he has grown by leaps and bounds and today he is among the most prominent directors in the country with a following that is not restricted by region or language. Thuppakki is his recent blockbuster and he plans to take the film to Hindi with Akshay Kumar playing the lead.
ARM has said that the most unforgettable moment in his life has to be when Ajith accepted to work with him for Dheena and approved his script. Dheena as we know was a fruitful association for both and Ajith became the ‘Thala’ of the state post Dheena. Since then, fans have been waiting for the reunion of this superb director – actor combo.
