The Nadigar Sangam President Sarath Kumar said that Suriya has been confirmed as the Icon Star of the Kollywood cricket team that is to take part in the Celebrity Cricket League T20. He added that Vijay and Vikram have also been approached to be the Icon Stars but both have not confirmed their participation till now.
Other stars who have been selected to play for Kollywood include Karthi, Abbas, Madhavan, Jayam Ravi, Arya, Shaam. The matches between the four film industries will be held in the last week of January 2011 in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
