Ganesh Venkataraman who received plaudits
for his performance as an ATS officer
in Unnaipol Oruvan scorched the ramp
at the recently concluded Chennai
Fashion Week. He opened the Finale
Collection for designer Sanjana Jon.
While talking about this Ganesh says,
"I started my career as a model
after winning the Gladrags Mr. India
contest and used to walk the ramp
regularly. In fact I was part of many
Fashion Weeks in Mumbai and Delhi.
After getting into acting I had taken
a sabbatical from the ramp, so it
was like returning to my first love.
And I am especially proud about the
fact that the Fashion Week has come
to Chennai finally this year."
When talking about the adulation that
he received from the fairer sex, this
former Mr. India adds with a chuckle,
"It was a great experience and
I loved the cheering and whistles
I got when I stepped onto the ramp
especially from the ladies."
