Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay's Vettaikaran is riding high on expectation meter with the Sun Pictures promoting it to the maximum. The promos, trailers and the songs that are being aired on the Sun Network day-in and day-out have no doubt added to the anticipation; not to mention the much talked about Vijay-Anushka on screen chemistry.

The film’s rights have been sold out in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu for a huge amount. Not to be left out in the international market, particularly the US, Narmadha Media has procured the distributorship rights of the film in the US. Vettaikaran will be releasing in all the major cities in the US on December 18th. With the release being timed in sync with the Christmas and New Year holidays, the tickets are expected to sell like hot cakes.
