Leading business magazine Forbes
India will announce its ‘Person
of the Year’ honor for the
year 2009 in its upcoming edition.
This edition will hit the newsstands
on Friday, December 18th. Madras
maestro and Oscar winner Rahman
is among the frontrunners for the
honor and the nominee list includes
other heavyweights like Nandan Nilekani,
Chetan Bhagat, Facebook, Mahendra
Singh Dhoni and Rahul Gandhi.
The award is decided through public
voting and readers can vote for
their choice by logging on to www.forbesindiamagazine.com/personoftheyear.
The voting will be open until 11.00
p.m. on Thursday, December 17th.
Twenty five readers, who will be
picked by a lucky draw, will be
conferred with a special prize by
the editorial team at Forbes.
