Celebrations with Rajini's permission

With the superstar away in Pune shooting for Endiran on his 60th birthday today, December 12, 2009, his fans seem to have taken charge of the celebrations in the city. Fans and well wishers of Rajini performed poojas and aarthis today all over the state wishing the superstar a long life.

As part of the celebrations, choreographer - actor Lawrence and veteran director S P Muthuraman chaired the charity activities held in Choolaimedu, Chennai. This event saw distribution of essential commodities for the poor in that area and it is also learnt that the activity also has the superstar's consent.
