Film career for social issues

The key leader in EPRLF and the former Chief Minister of the North Eastern province in Srilanka, Varadaraja Perumal’s daughter Neelambari Perumal has decided to make films as her career choice. The lady has been signed up for a Malayalam film Bombay Mittayi, which is directed by Ummer Karikkad. This actor-dancer plays a television journalist in the film, which has Vinu Mohan and Bala in the lead roles.

Bombay Mittayi is due to be released on Christmas. According to the actress, Malayalam films have always been a platform for social issues and Bombay Mittayi is definitely a subject that deals with such issues and that prompted her to accept the role.
