In an effort to showcase the talents
of the differently disabled, Kalai
Vizhi conducted a workshop at the
Garodia School in Chennai and selected
deserving differently disabled persons
interested in films and provided
training in the field they preferred.
The three-month training concluded
in September and all those who had
successfully completed the training
has been signed up to work in the
film titled Maa, which is to be
produced by the production house
Kalai Vizhi.
Speaking at the inaugural function
of Kalai Vizhi, the FEFSI president
VC Guhanathan said that all the
associations coming under FEFSI
will issue free memberships to each
of the selected candidate in their
respective fields.
Actor-director Cheran said that
he would work with the Maa team
one full day with one hand tied
down to experience their difficulty.
To keep his word, Cheran will participate
at the first day of Maa shooting
which would be held in December
with his hand tied. |
