To mark the World AIDS Day today,
three short films were released
at the Sathyam Theatre complex in
Chennai. The three films were directed
by Krithika Udayanidhi, Mysskin
and Sasi Kumar. Kamal Haasan graced
the occasion and lauded the efforts
of the directors. He said that the
directors had a tough time finding
sponsors for their short films but
film personalities like him would
do all their best to make it reach
to the people.
While speaking at the event, Mysskin
said that when Krithika approached
him with a script on the subject
he asked her to make some changes.
He said that Krithika had to make
changes until it came out perfectly
well the fourth time. The director
disclosed that he worked as her
assistant and advised to make the
film according to her liking and
the changes could be made in the
final stages. Krithika’s film,
Mysskin says, has come out very
well.
He resolved that he would spend
10 days in a year to create AIDS
awareness among the people.
