Ready, the Telugu film to be remade
into Tamil with Dhanush and Genelia
being directed by Mithran Jawahar
went on floors yesterday and the
entire unit is excited about it.
However there is a small hitch regarding
the English title. People who are
well informed about Kollywood and
its entertainment tax clauses are
wondering if director Mithran Jawahar
has decided to retain the original
title or not.
However sources close to the team
aver that there are two assistant
directors who have been exclusively
assigned the job of giving a minimum
of ten Tamil titles daily till the
perfect one is arrived at. As is
well known, titles are responsible
for projecting the right kind of
pre-release image and for the film’s
reach; the ADs are working over
time on their task. Jawahar’s
previous flick Yaaradi Nee Mohini
was also spoken for its uniqueness
and his current Kutty is also not
an exception. Going by Jawahar’s
‘title’ record, film
buffs can be sure that Telugu ‘Ready’
will be aptly baptized in Tamil
